Consensus 2024 will take place from May 29 to 31 in Austin, Texas, USA. It’s an annual event founded by the Web3-focused media company CoinDesk in 2015. Consensus 2024 is one of the largest and longest-running events in the crypto industry.
2024 marks the 10th year of the event. Consensus 2024 will bring together different aspects of the Web3 community, providing a platform for discussions, competitions, and networking.

As in previous years, Consensus 2024 introduces NFTs called “Microcosms.” These collectibles are generative artworks by artist Fahad Karim. Every year until 2026, Microcosms holders will receive additional NFTs and rewards through airdrops, including access to special community channels.

- Finance & Policy: This category represents stages and summits for members of traditional and decentralized finance, policymakers, and investors. On the Money Reimagined stage, speakers will discuss topics like ETFs, Real-World asset tokenization, and more. It consists of the Open Finance Summit, State of Crypto Policy Summit, and FutureFi.
- Web3 & AI: Conversations on the latest developments in NFTs, Web3, AI, and other emerging technologies will take place on the Gen C Stage. It brings together brands, artists, creators, gamers, and AI aficionados. Web3 & AI category includes Brand & Creator Summit, Immersive Worlds & Gaming, and AI Summit.

Tickets to Consensus 2024 are available online. Prices start at $1,199, but they are subject to change. There are three types of tickets (passes) that allow participants to attend the event:
- Explorer Pass: allows Thursday and Friday access to most events
- Pro Pass: allows Wednesday to Friday access to most events
- Piranha Pass: includes VIP seats and experiences such as wellness and performance services and Concierge Service
