A landmark event for Ukraine's Ethereum community is set to unfold in Kyiv from June 21-23, 2024, featuring the ETHKyiv conference and hackathon.
ETHKyiv is organized by its namesake Ukrainian organization focused on Ethereum, hosting its inaugural event to bolster the community. Despite Ukraine countering extensive aggression from Russia for three years, the event will attract hundreds of participants from various countries to the Ukrainian capital.
Targeted at builders—developers, designers, and product owners—ETHKyiv encourages joining the hackathon to collaborate on Ethereum ecosystem projects. The event caters to both seasoned experts and novices, with a hackathon prize pool of $100,000. Winners will be able to channel these funds into advancing their projects.
Attendees will have opportunities to form teams, foster collaborations, engage in brainstorming, and establish international partnerships, showcasing Ukraine as a hub of technological innovation.
This represents a significant opportunity for Ukrainian projects, independent blockchain engineers, and participants in the Ethereum community.
About 30 speakers will feature at ETHKyiv, including:
The event is entirely free for all attendees, meals included. Registration for ETHKyiv in Ukraine is available here.
