The 5th Blockchain International Scientific Conference is bringing together top crypto and blockchain researchers, policymakers advocating for cryptocurrencies, software engineers, and other industry experts to share their latest findings with the public.
ISC 2023 will take place on March 18th at the conference hall of the Innside by Melia hotel in Manchester, UK.

The Blockchain International Scientific Conference has firmly established itself as a premier annual event in the field on the global stage. Attendees can expect to hear about the latest industry and academic research, discover innovations in distributed ledger technology and Web3, and gain insights into how blockchain can be applied in different areas of life.

ISC 2023 will feature keynote speeches from industry experts, including Albert Isola, the Minister for Digital and Financial Services, HM Government of Gibraltar. His report on "Cryptoassets: Policymaking, Regulation and Government" will provide his perspective on the development of regulatory policies for cryptocurrencies.

The keynote address will also feature Professor Mary Lacity, who serves as the Director of the Blockchain Center of Excellence at the University of Arkansas. Her research topic will focus on "The Application of Web3".

Dr. Rob Campbell, who chairs the Quantum Computing Research Program at Capitol Technology University, will be discussing post-quantum blockchains.

Jemma Fleetwood, a member of the Advisory Council of the British Blockchain Association, will be giving a presentation on "NFTs and Digital Assets". In addition to these experts, there will be talks from another dozen representatives of the blockchain industry.
The British Blockchain Association (BBA) is the mastermind behind the International Blockchain Conference. This non-profit organization was established in 2017 with the goal to promote the use of blockchain and other distributed ledgers in both public and private sectors. They are known for their scientific approach in arguing for the usefulness of these technologies.

The BBA's advisory board is made up of experts in blockchain, IT, computer science, as well as policymakers, developers, and long-term investors who all support the implementation of distributed ledger technology.

The BBA also publishes a journal that features research related to the topic. On top of that, they have their very own Centre for Evidence Based Blockchain (CEBB), which brings together scholars from leading universities and academic organizations. They provide consultations on the implementation of blockchain to governments and private companies.
