The upcoming international Metaverse Expo Tokyo 2024 is set to take place from July 3–5, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan. Since its inception in 2023, the Metaverse Expo project has hosted two events annually, one in summer and autumn.
The summer Metaverse Expo Tokyo 2024 will be hosted at Tokyo's international exhibition center, Tokyo Big Sight, with the autumn event scheduled for November 20–22 at Makuhari Messe—a convention complex located in Chiba, Japan.
The event is organized by RX Japan, established in 1986, which annually conducts more than 30 events across various sectors of the economy—from services and food products to healthcare, automotive, and innovative technologies.
RX Japan envisions Metaverse Expo Tokyo 2024 as an international networking hub for entrepreneurs, developers, and researchers of the Metaverse to discuss the transformative potential for businesses and society and the challenges facing the digital industry. The expo will highlight technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), artificial intelligence, and 3D printing.
Metaverse Expo attendees will include professionals from manufacturing, PR and marketing, retail, media, entertainment, and other sectors.
Metaverse Expo Tokyo will also feature two related exhibitions—XR Fair Tokyo 2024, and NexTech Week Tokyo 2024.
XR Fair Tokyo 2024, a B2B exhibition, will provide exhibitors an opportunity to display their latest work, including content production, "smart" glasses, head-mounted displays, tactile devices, and simulators. Last year's XR Fair Tokyo attracted over 300 exhibitors and nearly 30,000 visitors.
NexTech Week Tokyo 2024 will be dedicated to the practical application of cutting-edge technologies.
This Tokyo event will offer insights into products and solutions related to artificial intelligence, blockchain, quantum computing, and DX human resources (strategies for implementing digital technologies in operational processes, human resource management, client interactions, and more).
