The annual global tech conference “Web Summit”, dubbed as “the world’s premiere tech conference” by Politico, will return to Lisbon, Portugal this year.
The prominent Web Summit 2022 event will take place on the 1st-4th of November in Lisbon’s Altice Arena & Fil and is going to unite over 70,000 tech industry specialists and companies. This year’s topics will include: hardware and robotics, investment, smart cities, fintech and payments, finance, education, and many others.
Web Summit was initially founded in 2009 and was first held in Dublin. Created by Paddy Cosgrave, David Kelly, and Daire Hickey, the conference grasps the infinite realm of the tech industry, including the fast-growing sector of blockchain and web3. Apart from its main event, Web Summit also holds various events around the globe, such as the RISE conference in Hong Kong and Collision in Toronto.
