📣 ConsenSys Enhances MetaMask Security with Wallet Guard

Wallet Guard, a browser-based app, identifies scams and malware in real time. ConsenSys is integrating this functionality into MetaMask.
MetaMask users will benefit from enhanced protection against fraudsters and drainers, thanks to heuristic algorithms and additional transaction validation.
Additionally, the Wallet Guard team will be joining ConsenSys to work in MetaMask’s security department.
Wallet Guard has quickly become a premier security tool with advanced capabilities and constant innovation that strategically aligns with Consensys' goal of putting user safety at the forefrontstated ConsenSys CEO Joe Lubin.
Earlier this year, ConsenSys integrated the Blockaid security alert system into MetaMask. The company projects that this system will protect hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of user assets from malicious actors in 2024.
The financial details of the acquisition have not been revealed.
