The cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has officially launched its NFT trading platform, following a prolonged period of beta testing. In celebration of this milestone, the platform has broadened its trial suite from 95 NFT collections to a whopping 250.
We previously reported that the exchange has initiated the public testing phase for its marketplace, highlighting its numerous advantages. This commenced in January 2023. Now, six months later, the platform is operating at full capacity.
The switch from testing mode to full operation has significantly expanded the range of available tokens, tied to Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon blockchains.

Presently, the following collections are enjoying considerable popularity:
  1. Cool Cats. A collection of 9,999 randomly generated NFTs featuring cats, chosen for their shared stylistic attributes.
  2. Bored Ape Yacht Club и Mutant Ape Yacht Club. A collection from Yuga Labs encompassing 10,000 'Bored Ape' NFTs.
  3. Meebits. A fairly recent collection of 20,000 unique 3D characters, crafted using a generative algorithm and subsequently registered on the Ethereum blockchain.
  4. CryptoPunks. This set of 10,000 images has existed since 2017. Coveted by the world's most discerning collectors.
  5. Fancy Frenchies. A collection featuring 10,000 French bulldogs, originating from the Solana blockchain.

Kraken is committed to making non-fungible tokens accessible for everyone, endorsing both high-profile projects, like CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club,  as well as more affordable ones ranging from $50 to $100.

This approach positions Kraken's trading platform as a genuinely inclusive marketplace, accommodating any taste and budget.
When buying or selling JPEGs within the store, there are indeed no gas commissions. However, the platform does levy certain fees for transfers to and from it. Notwithstanding, Kraken anticipates it will be competitive with other platforms and considers these terms ideal for retail traders and newcomers to the NFT arena.

In addition, the developers have incorporated several payment options into the marketplace, offering users the flexibility to perform transactions in either fiat or digital currencies.

To make the selection process even smoother, each listed JPEG features a built-in uniqueness rating. The Kraken NFT trading platform currently supports MetaMask and the Solana Phantom wallet, with plans to incorporate WalletConnect in the near future.
