On September 20, Michael Saylor’s MicroStrategy revealed that it had purchased another 7,420 BTC, with the acquisition totaling approximately $458.2 million.
As noted in Saylor’s post on platform X, the average price for the newly acquired BTC was $61,750. The company’s overall Bitcoin investment was made at an average price of around $39,266 per coin.

With this latest addition, MicroStrategy’s total Bitcoin holdings now amount to 252,220 BTC, representing over 1.2% of all Bitcoins currently in circulation. At the time of writing, the market value of the company’s Bitcoin stash is estimated to be around $15.8 billion.

The acquisition followed MicroStrategy’s announcement earlier that day, reporting the sale of $1.01 billion in convertible senior notes.

MicroStrategy stated that the remaining proceeds from the sale will be used for further BTC purchases and general corporate purposes.
