0N1 Force brings together an NFT collection featuring anime-inspired digital art, with a mission to rally artists and create a tightly-knit community set for a fantastical voyage.
Thanks to an engaging marketing strategy, artful illustrations, and a captivating narrative, this collection has swiftly earned its stripes among users. The artist IMCMPLX deserves much of the credit, having designed a kaleidoscope of vivid images teeming with intricate detailing like masks, headphones, headgear, and much more.
While the striking visual work catches the eye, it's the meticulously crafted lore — rich information about this fantastical universe — that sets the collection apart. The creative minds behind the project didn't hold back, furnishing detailed descriptions of the backstory, the technology involved, the core challenges, and the clans vying for survival. The full history is available for perusal on the project’s official website.
The team did a remarkable job of linking their vision to a collection that includes 7777 NFTs, each with varying degrees of rarity - there are more than 100 distinct attributes. The price tag for the rarest items is steep, exceeding 30 ETH, and even less unique versions don't come cheap, priced at 1.7 ETH and above. After acquiring an NFT, users have the option to order an additional 0N1 FRAMES NFT, a graphic-technical enhancement that is custom-made based on the main variant's specifics.

The hype around the project suggested its potential for long-term success, prompting the team to actively develop and engage with the community. They even launched their marketplace, organized competitions, and co-created storytelling. However, interest waned over time, and the team's commitment to the project deteriorated. As developments slowed down, notably with the promised role-playing game and various other bonuses falling through, accusations of fraud began to surface. This resulted in stagnation and, ultimately, the project's sale.
Unwilling to lose any more time, the new owners took immediate and decisive steps to regain user trust:
- They reinstated artists IMCMPLX and Cromagnus to spearhead the creative expansion of the collection.
- They kept Henry Finn (Starlordy) in his position as CEO and appointed Hicham Habchi, known for his work on several prominent games, as head of the creative department.
- They brought on new artists and writers to enhance the product's overall quality and develop new narrative arcs.
These efforts quickly translated into offers of collaboration with new projects. For example, Theia3D entered an agreement with 0N1 Force to test community interaction within an interactive environment, Fortnite Creative 2.0. Hopefully, the current team will harness this positive momentum to bring the original ideas to fruition.
