A remarkable video from 1998 has recently surfaced on X (Twitter), showcasing Hal Finney at what appears to be the Crypto '98 conference.
In the video, he provides a detailed explanation of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK-Proofs) and demonstrates how to implement them using SHA-1 hash without disclosing message details.

What's truly remarkable is that this groundbreaking technology, now widely recognized as ZK-Proofs, was introduced a decade before the creation of Bitcoin. At that time, Zero-Knowledge Proofs were considered impractical due to hardware constraints.

Some speculate that Hal Finney could be Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of the leading cryptocurrency, as he was the first recipient of a BTC transaction back in 2009.
