Sean Chen, who worked on Marvel and DC characters, became the legendary art director of 247 Comics. He illustrated a two-year stint on Wolverine and a three-year stint on Iron Man.

He was joined by other well-known artists who wanted to "break old habits by building on the blockchain," including Justin Jordan, Wil Quintana, Brian Ching, and others.
