On October 31, Bitget Wallet introduced Bitget Wallet Lite, a Telegram-based crypto wallet that lets users buy, hold, and transfer digital assets without leaving the messaging app.
On October 28, Bitget conducted a “soft launch” of Bitget Wallet Lite, intended as a preliminary test phase. Since then, the wallet has gained an impressive 6 million users.

To give a sense of scale: Hot Wallet has a user count of 5.8 million, Crypto Bot has 1.9 million, and Tonkeeper stands at 760,000.

What’s Fueling Interest in Bitget Wallet Lite?

In an interesting twist, the Bitget Wallet Lite user counter paused at 6,049,835 for around an hour and a half. This may suggest a delay in Telegram’s data refresh, implying that the actual user count could be even higher.

According to Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, the wallet’s popularity can be credited to its useful features and various promotional campaigns.

One notable campaign rewarded early users. Alvin revealed that Bitget’s team had gifted the first million users on Telegram.

Additionally, he explained that Bitget Wallet Lite’s growth reflects the broader appeal of Mini Apps, highlighting Tomarket—a Bitget Wallet project that now boasts over 40 million users.
