A0K1VERSE: Why does a DJ need his own metaverse?
Steve Aoki is a DJ, producer, and voice actor who has been on the wave of popularity for years. His life is more than just performances. What does NFT mean for the legend of electronic dance music?
Steve Aoki has been in the music industry since 1996. At just 19 years old, he founded his own record label, Dim Mak Records. During these 26 years, the musician has released solo studio albums, collaborated with stars like Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, and BTS, voiced animated films, launched his clothing, sunglasses, and even headphones lines.
Despite his diversified activity, Aoki also decided to leave a mark in the Web3 space. The DJ is known as an NFT collector and the creator of the unique A0K1VERSE project.

What is A0K1VERSE?
As defined by a0k1verse.xyz, the project is a new ecosystem that connects the metaverse with the real world. Members of this community are waiting for a unique experience in both the virtual and real worlds.

The project is based on A0K1VERSE credits and passports. Credits are ERC-1155 tokens with a total supply of 50,000. 25,000 are intended for the initial public release, and the remaining 25,000 will be distributed among community members as rewards.
Purchased credits can be exchanged by community members for passports, and this is where the fun begins. The A0K1VERSE passport is a pass to the metaverse and a dynamic NFT that evolves according to the activity of its owner.
The project features six levels of passports: infrared, electric green, neon blue, ultraviolet, phantom, and prizm. You need to pay a different number of credits for each of them – from 1 to 1024. It is not necessary to lay out a fortune at once to receive higher-level passports. Users can upgrade passes by gradually adding credits or by combining multiple passports into a more advanced pass.
