According to 9to5mac, Apple does not plan to charge for its Apple Intelligence features in three years after its official release, despite rumors suggesting a launch could occur as early as this year. However, after this period, certain features might be offered for a monthly fee of $20.

Apple first unveiled its AI features, including an enhanced Siri voice assistant, an emoji generator, and other innovations, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2024. These features are currently in beta testing and are only available in select countries.
Given the fact that Apple is mostly playing catch-up in the AI race, it’d be a silly move for them to charge for something so basic this early on,
reports 9to5mac.
Moreover, most of these features run on-device, making it difficult to justify their monetization. Analysts predict that in the coming years, Apple will develop more sophisticated and extensive AI services, which may then be included in a paid subscription model.
