Chase Herro, a figure with a contentious reputation, took on a leadership role at the new cryptocurrency platform World Liberty Financial, backed by the Trump family. Herro is notorious for aggressively promoting marijuana products, fake weight-loss supplements, and launching a get-rich-quick subscription course priced at $149 per month.
While Herro flaunts a lavish lifestyle on social media, his only experience in the crypto world stems from Dough Finance. The project raised several million dollars before collapsing after a hack, with its token dropping by 97%. Herro describes himself as a "dirtbag of the internet" that regulators should have kicked out of the market long ago.

Despite his controversial past, World Liberty Financial publicly promotes Herro as a successful crypto entrepreneur, and he’s officially listed as the head of global strategy for the platform. Interestingly, the company’s registered address is the same as Herro’s firm, located in Puerto Rico.
According to official documents, the Trump family neither owns nor operates the platform. The former president is described as a major supporter of cryptocurrency, with his sons serving as Web3 ambassadors. However, in the event of a sale or other financial dealings, they are entitled to compensation (the specific amount remains undisclosed).
