⚡ Coin Cloud Data Breach
posted 13 Nov 2023
An anonymous hacker group has reportedly compromised Coin Cloud, a
Bitcoin ATM operator that declared bankruptcy earlier this year.
Cybersecurity expert vx-underground reports that the hackers have
allegedly gained access to the sensitive data of over 300,000 clients.
This data includes 70,000 selfies, names, addresses, birth dates, social
security numbers, and phone numbers.
Additionally,
vx-underground has reported that the hackers announced the breach in
private channels and there's a potential threat of them releasing the
compromised database on the internet.
