Aerodrome is the largest decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on the Base Layer-2 network, with a Total Value Locked (TVL) of $1.481 billion—almost five times the TVL of Uniswap, its closest competitor on the Base blockchain.

Despite this, Aerodrome ranks fifth overall among DEXs in terms of TVL, trailing Uniswap, Raydium, PancakeSwap, and Curve.

The AERO token has also been mentioned in Grayscale’s investment list, a roster of cryptocurrencies the firm is considering for future investment products.

The crypto community holds high expectations for AERO, predicting success on the Base network similar to what Uniswap achieved on Ethereum. Additionally, the token’s lack of listing on major centralized exchanges adds an air of exclusivity for potential investors.

Currently, you can trade the token on most decentralized exchanges or purchase AERO on KuCoin, Coinbase, and Gate.io.
