🔥 Community Gaming’s Forkast Platform to Launch in January

The Web3 gaming ecosystem, Community Gaming, has announced the launch of its Forkast prediction market platform on January 7, 2025, alongside the CGX token on the Ronin bridge.
In an X post, Community Gaming co-founder Chris Gonsalves revealed that the platform will enable users to make predictions on gaming, streamers, esports, and Web3.
By staking CGX tokens through smart contracts, users can earn rewards referred to as Loot Boxes on the platform.
Each Loot Box is categorized into Bronze, Silver, or Gold tiers, offering rewards like NFTs and virtual items.
Forkast will leverage the Ronin cross-chain bridge and its Waypoint solution to provide users with easy onboarding and cost-efficient transactions.
The CGX token will also launch on the Katana decentralized exchange (DEX) to expand its utility within the gaming ecosystem.
In a separate release, Ronin announced that interested users can sign up for Forkast and follow the platform’s social channels to stay updated on future announcements.
On the platform, users can earn rewards for correctly predicting future event outcomes, as well as credits, Loot Boxes, and additional rewards through referrals, daily liquidity incentives, and leaderboard achievements.
Most rewards will be distributed as CGX tokens once Forkast goes live.
Launched in 2019, Community Gaming delivers tournament experiences, automated rewards distribution through blockchain, and on-chain gaming integrations. The platform has hosted more than 1,000 tournaments and secured over $16 million in investments, according to Crunchbase.
