Ho Wan Kwok (A/K/A "Miles Guo" or "Guo Wengui") has been arrested in the United States for large-scale fraud. Wan Kwok orchestrated an entire ecosystem of crypto exchanges, the Himalaya Dollar stablecoin, and the Himalaya Coin utility token.
The fraudster, along with his accomplice Kin Ming Je, swindled about a billion dollars from gullible crypto enthusiasts. Law enforcement officers have already arrested pseudo-exchange's bank accounts and confiscated about $634 million from those.

Kin Ming Je is still on the wanted list.

Prosecutors claim that Kwok managed to buy a 50,000-square-metre mansion, a $37 million yacht, a $3.5 million Ferrari, and even two $36,000 mattresses for himself and his relatives.

"Such an amateur!" Curly Sam reckons.
