Ether NFTs: Anime Collectors' Next Big Craze
Ether is an anime-styled NFT collection, designed to form the basis of an original graphic novel, a contemporary clothing brand, and a welcoming community.
Projects of this nature are attractive to audiences because of the extensive fan base of anime-themed content. The snippets from a trailer costing around $500,000 and the published artwork suggest that the collection could be one of the most anticipated crypto events of the summer.
This idea is backed by an anonymous team led by the popular artist viii and a developer known as CV, who has extensive experience in the Web3 industry. The collection will consist of 10,000 unique NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain, made up of more than 500 different elements. During the minting event scheduled for June 30, whitelisted individuals will be able to purchase a character capsule for 0.35 ETH or get one free with a temporary lock (10 weeks). Public sales will launch a week later at 0.65 ETH.
The collection will feature 5,000 male and 5,000 female characters, divided into several factions: humans (50%), mecha (30%), vampires (19%), and corrupters (0.95%). The remaining five NFTs will play the roles of the main characters in the upcoming story, featuring an original visual effect of the capsule's reveal and social media posts. Their owners will be able to work directly with the main artist to design their NFT's clothing, weapons, and accessories, after which they can order a special physical figurine from YouTooz. Although there are no official art pieces yet, viii frequently posts potential designs.

The Ether NFT team has rolled out a roadmap, promising the production of their very own apparel, such as sneakers and hoodies. These items will be created in partnership with recognized designers, notable brands, and collectors, bringing limited editions into the mix. Users will be granted the option to purchase these products in a virtual or real-world setting, as the initiative seeks to blur the boundaries between the tangible and digital realms.
Additionally, the developers are planning an original narrative where the owners of the collection can influence the storyline, determine the fate of characters, and guide the plot progression. Illustrated chapters will be drafted in black and white and released bi-weekly. Fans preferring full-color graphic works will need to secure an Ether NFT.
Ultimately, the Ether team's vision goes beyond merely introducing several exciting features. They aspire to construct a worldwide and welcoming community, a place where members can learn, share ideas, and collaborate. This will be facilitated by the team's commitment to developing new products and actively involving NFT owners in the production process. Although there is some skepticism online, with some accusing the creators of making lofty promises and setting high minting costs, the project has not given any reason for doubt so far, striving to become one of the best in the realm of anime collections.
