Ethereum will have a new testnet
Developers of the Ethereum core plan to launch a new test network named "Holli" by the end of 2023.
The goal of this network is to improve the testing environment and solve problems related to acquiring ETH in Ethereum test networks, specifically on Goerli.
Test networks are clones of the main blockchain used for experimental purposes. They allow developers to test applications for errors before deploying them on the main network. Currently, there are two testnets in the Ethereum ecosystem: Goerli and Sepolia.
