Galxe 2.0 – A Significant Update of the Platform for Web3 Quests

The new features include a mobile app, Smart Balance, Web3 Score, Galxe ID v2, and updated Telegram and Discord bots.

The Galxe mobile app is a key component of the large-scale 2.0 update. It offers users a user-friendly way to engage with active campaigns, receive rewards in the form of NFTs and OATs (on-chain achievement tokens), and discover new Web3 projects.

Additionally, it enables users to manage their Galxe ID profile and stay updated on the community’s ongoing events. It is noted that the app will be available for testing in early Q4 2023.

The new Smart Balance feature is designed to address a common issue frequently faced by active participants in the Web3 space. Instead of swapping tokens between different networks, you can now use credits to pay transaction fees.

To do this, users need to top up their balance with stablecoins or Galxe's native tokens, GAL, allowing them to use credits to pay for gas fees across 26 blockchains.

Web3 Score is a new feature that evaluates a user's journey in the Web3 world. It takes into account such factors as wallet history, social influence, assets in different networks (cryptocurrencies, valuable NFTs), etc. 

This score not only establishes a digital reputation but also serves as a dynamic Soulbound NFT representing the personality of a Web3 user.

The updated Galxe ID v2 now allows users to log in using social networks without a cryptocurrency wallet, enabling participation exclusively in social campaigns.

In addition, the new profile accommodates the integration of multiple Web3 domains and cryptocurrency wallet addresses. Galxe ID v2 was expected to launch at the end of September 2023.

Unlike the first version, the second iteration of Galxe bots for Telegram and Discord enables users to receive notifications from Web3 spaces to which they have subscribed on the Galxe platform. This ensures users are promptly informed about new campaigns and can participate in them.

To date, Galxe has gained over 12 million unique active users and assisted 3,300 organizations to run more than 36,000 campaigns. The project has also become the largest provider of digital identities on Web3, with over 450,000 verified Galxe passport holders.

In the last two years, Galxe has issued more than 66 million Galxe OATs (on-chain achievement tokens) and loyalty NFTs to 5.5 million unique addresses across 26 blockchains. Learn more about the Galxe platform in our review.
