Finnish authorities have seized a luxury watch collection worth an estimated $2.68 million from Hex founder Richard Schueler, also known as Richard Heart, who is currently the subject of an international manhunt.
According to police, 20 watches were confiscated, most of them from the prestigious Swiss brand Rolex, known for its high-end craftsmanship. The collection was discovered in one of Schueler’s properties, and its value was determined based on receipts and evaluations from luxury goods experts.
He likely showcased these watches publicly to project an image of wealth, perhaps to convince investors that they too could achieve significant riches, police said in an official statement.
Schueler faces allegations of multimillion-dollar tax evasion and assault. Interpol has issued a red notice for his arrest, making him one of the most wanted individuals globally. In addition to European authorities, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is also investigating him.
The SEC alleges that Schueler violated securities laws through the creation of Hex and other cryptocurrency projects. According to the SEC, he misused investor funds to purchase diamonds, watches, and luxury cars. If captured, Schueler could face extradition requests from multiple countries.

Despite ongoing efforts by law enforcement, Schueler remains at large. He continues to actively promote Hex on social media and uploads videos to YouTube. It’s unclear why authorities haven’t yet requested social media platforms to block his accounts, considering the severity of the charges against him.
