French clothing brand Lacoste has announced the expansion of its Web3 program with a token-gated ecosystem that gamifies user participation and offers NFT-related perks. The initiative, called UNDW3 (pronounced “underwater”), builds upon the brand’s previous release of 11,212 profile picture NFTs featuring its iconic crocodile motif.
UNDW3 NFT holders who link their crypto wallets to the UNDW3 portal can now engage in various activities such as creative contests, video game quests, and interactive conversations organized by Lacoste. By participating and earning points on their UNDW3 card, which is connected to their wallet and Discord account, users can increase the rarity and value of their NFTs.

Lacoste aims to establish a long-term digital destination where customers and others can develop a deeper and reciprocal relationship with the brand. The company sees blockchain technology as an accelerator that fosters inclusivity and enhances the digital experience. By rewarding creators and involving customers in the creative process, Lacoste aims to create a more immersive and engaging digital realm.
