📣 Mass Employee Exodus Looms over OpenAI

A contingent of over five hundred OpenAI staff members has rallied
behind an open letter to the company's executives, demanding a reshuffle
of the board of directors or facing a mass resignation. This ultimatum
is in direct response to the controversial dismissal of Sam Altman from
the CEO role.
The
employees have voiced their dissatisfaction with the board's decisions
and are contemplating a shift to Microsoft if their calls for change are
ignored. Mira Murati, who once held the position of interim leader at
OpenAI, supports this movement.
"We
are unable to work for or with people that lack competence, judgement,
and care for our mission and employees," reads their shared sentiment.
The
dissent extends to key figures like Ilya Sutskever, who is believed to
have had a hand in Altman's removal. Sutskever has since extended an
apology and is calling for a reformation of the team to ensure the
company's future progress.
