MicroStrategy has acquired 1,070 BTC at an average price of $94,004 per coin, further solidifying its status as the largest corporate Bitcoin holder. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor announced the update on X (formerly Twitter), where he often shares the company’s Bitcoin investments.
The company reported a Bitcoin yield of 48.0% for the fourth quarter of 2024 and an impressive 74.3% for the full fiscal year.
As of 01/05/2025, we hodl 447,470 $BTC acquired for ~$27.97 billion at ~$62,503 per bitcoin.
Saylor tweeted.
MicroStrategy remains the biggest corporate holder of Bitcoin, with its stash towering over other publicly traded companies dabbling in the cryptocurrency space.

This marks the 9th consecutive week of Bitcoin acquisitions for the company. On December 30, it revealed a purchase of 2,138 BTC for approximately $209 million in cash at an average price of $97,837 per coin, including fees. The prior week saw another major buy of $561 million worth of Bitcoin.

Saylor, an outspoken Bitcoin evangelist, seems undeterred by market fluctuations. MicroStrategy has often leveraged price dips to buy Bitcoin at lower rates, and this purchase appears to follow that strategy.

As of now, Bitcoin trades above $99,000, reflecting a 7% weekly increase. Meanwhile, MicroStrategy’s (MSTR) stock, recently added to the Nasdaq-100, is up 12% in a day, trading at $339.
