A new bill has been registered in the state of South Dakota that aims to redefine the concept of money, particularly in regards to cryptocurrencies.
The bill proposes that Bitcoin should not be considered money, as it was not issued or sanctioned by the government. At the same time, the bill lays the groundwork for the safe development of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
