The Odesa Fine Arts Museum (OFAM) has teamed up with ArtWhale to launch NFT passes for art enthusiasts and Web3 supporters who want to support Ukraine's iconic cultural institution.
By purchasing one of three types of NFT passes, users can become a friend of the museum and enjoy unlimited free admission from May 1, 2023, to May 1, 2024. In the future, NFT owners will be able to participate in exhibitions in the OFAM metaverse, which is currently under development. Furthermore, in the long term, these unique tokens will serve as a pass to the museum's DAO, which will be built around the holders of NFT membership cards.

The sale of utility NFTs will assist the custodial team at the Odesa Fine Arts Museum in raising funds for 3D scanning of the art collection that was evacuated from the OFAM following Russia's military invasion of Ukraine. The museum will receive a 10% cut from every subsequent sale of these unique tokens on the secondary market.

Owners of non-fungible tokens will have the opportunity to register for a one-time online video tour of the current museum exhibition.
In addition, NFT holders are invited to online tours of the museum's main collection and past exhibitions in a 360-degree format. Friends of the museum also have access to the OFAM digital archive.
The main privileges:
- NFT owners are added to a whitelist for future airdrops of utility tokens. In 2024, there will be several free distributions of utility tokens that will serve as tickets to exclusive events only for NFT holders;

As previously noted, the NFTs were launched in collaboration with ArtWhale. The company helps museums expand into the Web3 sector by providing the necessary infrastructure. ArtWhale also offers legal and technical advice on converting works of art into NFTs and ensures that the rights holders receive their royalties.
