📣 Phantom Wallet Reports Service Disruptions
posted 28 Oct 2024
On October 28, Phantom, the most widely used crypto wallet on the Solana network, reported intermittent service issues.
Some users encountered errors with balance visibility.
Phantom’s status page cited a “major backend incident,” and the team confirmed they’re addressing the issue.
The extension and mobile app, however, remained accessible. “Rest assured, your funds are safe,” read the statement from Phantom’s team.

This isn't the first time Phantom has encountered outages. In February 2024, they cited a “delay in updating token balances,” and in August, users faced a “temporary issue that prevented users from properly seeing account balances.” Both issues were quickly resolved.
Update: The recent issue was fixed by 16:20 UTC, lasting for 2 hours and 44 minutes.
