Polkadot Decoded 2023
Polkadot represents a unifying, sharded network that supports numerous compatible blockchains (parachains), all within an ever-evolving Web3 ecosystem.
The Polkadot Decoded 2023 conference is the perfect opportunity to discover the latest updates and explore new developments within the community.
The event is scheduled for June 28-29 in the Oksnehallen exhibition complex in Copenhagen. If you're unable to attend in person, you can buy an offline ticket for €99 or avail of a free online ticket if you're a Polkadot supporter.
The Program for Polkadot Decoded 2023
This two-day conference includes reports and presentations across multiple stages, discussions, one-on-one conversations, and networking. Developers can look forward to interactive seminars where they can learn more about the Polkadot tech stack.
During the event, attendees will get a chance to interact with project teams that have newly joined the network. They'll deepen their understanding of how Polkadot fosters collaboration among Web3 developers and facilitates the products they're creating.
The conference will touch upon several significant topics such as:
- The issue of decentralized networks regulation,
- The integration of Web3 on a corporate scale,
- The advantages of utilizing the KILT protocol,
- The influence of venture capitalists within the Polkadot ecosystem,
- The impact of music and games in promoting the spread of Web3.
The speaker lineup includes esteemed representatives from a wide array of companies, such as Acala, Moonbeam, Oak Network, Parity Technologies, Imbue Network, DFG, KILT Protocol, Energy Web, and the Web3 Foundation.
In general, visitors will get an opportunity to evaluate the potential and prowess of technological solutions presented by Polkadot, comprehend the conceptual underpinnings of the blockchain, and envisage its multichain future.
As a special treat, all event-goers will be gifted an NFT from the Decoded Hybrid collection. These unique non-fungible tokens, paying homage to the realm of science fiction art, will serve as digital keepsakes from the conference. They also have the option of selling these tokens in the secondary market if they wish.
Encode Club Hackathon
As part of Polkadot Decoded 2023, the Encode Club is hosting a free hackathon tailored for blockchain developers. These developers will compete for a prize pool that amounts to $20,000.
The developer competitions will include:
- Programming a mini-game using the Ngageit IDEA environment and Unity Substrate SDK,
- Developing an app for Bifrost Liquid Staking tokens,
- Creating a custom interface with the use of Gear and SubQuery tools.
Furthermore, the three participants who manage to raise the most intriguing and innovative questions related to Web3 development will be rewarded with 10 million remote procedure call requests from Polkadot. This will cater to their essential needs, accelerating the development of their respective dApps.
Lastly, the hackathon will single out its standout participant. Their creativity and skills will be acknowledged, especially if they managed to generate an original solution to the problem posed. This participant will receive an unlimited number of RPC requests for 30 days, along with a cash prize of $10,000.
