Project Liberty Partners with SOAR to Advance Web3 Social Media

Project Liberty has teamed up with SOAR to propose a user-driven alternative to centralized social media platforms.

The initiative seeks to establish a decentralized infrastructure empowering users to maintain control over their data and social interactions. At its core lies the Decentralized Social Networking Protocol (DSNP), designed to facilitate seamless content sharing across multiple applications without locking users into a single platform.

The initiative’s primary mission is to shift control from big corporations to individual users.

With DSNP, users gain the freedom to transfer their social graphs, data, and content across platforms while retaining full autonomy. This structure promotes transparency and ethical data use.

The SOAR project, comprising several tech startups, shares this vision and recognizes decentralized networks as the future of digital interaction. Together with Project Liberty, they aim to build a sustainable alternative to current market leaders like Facebook and TikTok.

The driving principle of these new technologies is to prioritize the needs of users over corporate monopolies.

This partnership highlights the push for Web3—a fairer, more open internet where users own their data. By implementing DSNP through collaborations with platforms like MeWe, Project Liberty is demonstrating the real-world potential of decentralization.
