It will be possible to buy electronics in several Ukrainian stores with the help of the WhitePay platform, which is part of the ecosystem of the WhiteBIT exchange. You can pay for the goods online and offline using one of the special POS terminals.
Currently, more than one hundred and thirty types of cryptocurrencies are accepted for payment. According to WhitePay platform representatives, the list of digital assets available for payment will continue to expand over time.
In addition, the WhiteBIT exchange has launched a loyalty program in the TehnoEzh chain of stores. Customers who bought Apple devices or made a purchase of 10 thousand hryvnias will receive WhiteEX gift cards to top up their exchange wallets. The face value of the card depends on the number of purchases. WhiteEX cards will also be available in the TehnoEzh showrooms and stores.
The cards are available in two variants – in hryvnia and USDT. To deposit to the exchange, the user will need to download the app or open the web version of WhiteBIT. After the QR code of the card is scanned, it will be activated. The card activation takes five minutes, after which the exchange wallet will be automatically topped up.
As Gleb Ushakov, CEO of WhiteEX, noted, the exchange WhiteBIT will further develop the Ukrainian crypto sector and attract new users.
“In such a way, we are trying to encourage people for whom cryptocurrencies remain a tricky matter. Perhaps such an impetus will help them to dive into this world, allowing them to discover the skills of a trader or investor,” Ushakov said.
Earlier, as a part of assistance to Ukraine, cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT donated seven mobile autonomous stations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for consular services to citizens in hotspots.
