Crypto project Linea announces its latest quest campaign, Linea Park, rewarding participants with LXP tokens, potentially affecting eligibility for the project's retroactive airdrop.
Our website already hosts a number of articles about Linea and the potential rewards from the project. Importantly, a significant portion of the airdrop could be dedicated to Linea quest participants and LXP holders.

What is LXP?

LXP (Linea Voyage XP) are unique tokens awarded to Linea users since February 2024. Traders earn them primarily for their testnet activities and completing Linea Voyage quests.

Several new quest programs are now active, offering opportunities to accrue LXP. According to certain crypto community insights, this token will be crucial in the allocation of the Linea airdrop.

At the time of this article, there are 505,000 holders of LXP, each owning between 2 and 4,529 tokens.

Proof of Humanity: A Necessary Requirement

To be eligible to claim LXP coins, users must obtain a POH (Proof of Humanity) badge from Linea, certifying that the user is neither a bot nor a multi-account holder.

The POH initiative is Linea's strategy to tackle the issue of account farms. Users can obtain POH through the website by undergoing a series of attestations:

  • One Group A attestation;
  • Two Group B attestations.

Group A involves diverse identity verification methods, including cryptocurrency exchange verifications (OKX, Coinbase) or securing a Gitcoin Passport with a minimum rating of 20.

Group B assesses wallet activity. Hence, traders regularly using the same MetaMask for transactions are likely to pass the attestation process smoothly.

Certain verification tasks or transaction approvals on the wallet might incur fees ranging from $5 to $20, depending on the operation type.

Linea Park Quests on Layer3

Layer3 serves as a dedicated platform for cryptocurrency quests, which we've highlighted in one of our articles. The platform hosts the Linea Park campaign, a unique initiative by the Linea blockchain, divided into eight engaging categories:

  • Welcome;
  • RPG & MMO;
  • Action & Strategy;
  • Social World;
  • Experience the East;
  • Mini Game Gala;
  • NFT Land;
  • Final Quest.

Each quest unfolds over a week, featuring a variety of tasks such as NFT minting, specific token purchases, test tasks completion, exchange registration, website visits, and coin staking. These tasks predominantly require ETH fees within the Linea network, with the cost of quests varying, averaging between $5 and $10 per wallet for the initial two weeks.

The future of Linea Park, whether it will conclude the quest weeks or lead up to additional campaigns before the airdrop, remains uncertain. Polymarket users peg the likelihood of a Linea retroactive airdrop by June 30, 2024, at 31%.

Is an Airdrop Expected for On-chain Activity?

While there's an emphasis on the significance of quest completion from crypto insiders, the possibility of rewards for standard on-chain activities shouldn't be overlooked. These activities range from exchanges on decentralized platforms, smart contract deployments, liquidity provisions, and cross-chain protocol applications, to NFT engagements.

Our website features a special article on Linea activities potentially eligible for a retroactive airdrop. All listed projects remain valid and up-to-date as of this article's publication.
