The launch of Solana was awaited by many users of the top marketplace. The first information about the upcoming collaboration appeared at the beginning of the year after the leakage of images. The official teaser and wallet integration have completely dispelled doubts. An important difference between OpenSea and other marketplaces lies in the storage of NFTs in the wallet until the very moment of sale. Among the advantages of the network are more favorable transaction fees compared to Ethereum and high energy efficiency. However, not so long ago, the efficiency of Solana has significantly deteriorated due to overload. The co-founder of Solana Labs Anatoly Yakovenko reacted to the situation on Twitter. He prioritized the normal operation of the network and said: “Shame helps. The fire under your ass keeps you focused.”
