Spanish Court Rules John McAfee’s Death a Suicide
The Spanish justice system has determined that the founder of McAfee antivirus software took his own life in a Barcelona prison in June 2021.
This ruling comes after the Provincial Court of Barcelona rejected the appeal by his family for a second autopsy and a criminal investigation.
The software mogul and crypto enthusiast was arrested at the Barcelona airport in October 2020 for tax-related issues in the US.
Tragically, he was found deceased in his prison cell nine months later while awaiting extradition.
