The renowned artist from the Netherlands, Micha Klein, has positioned his crypto-pills as a form of virtual medicine for a society in need.
It seems he truly believes that parties, rather than laughter, is the ultimate cure.
Micha Klein (59) is a punk, rocker, skateboarder, fashionista, and renowned digital artist. In 1989, he became one of the first European students to earn a bachelor's degree in computer graphics.
Nowadays, he's creating masterpieces that combine various digital technologies and styles. If you want to see his photo works, you can find them exhibited in galleries and museums across the globe.

Some of the images for Micha's canvases were born at famous "warehouse" parties in the late 80s and early 90s. He was one of Europe's first VJs, and his performances helped shape VJing as we know it today. With his hours-long VJ sets, he set dancefloors and concert halls on fire around the world, from Ibiza to Miami.
Klein and Pillman, the animated pill-man, entertained the audience together. This capsule danced happily in the spotlight, illuminating the stage with its broad smile and dilated pupils. Pillman gained such popularity that Eminem chose to use him as a background projection during his "Anger Management Tour" in the United States and Europe. Ultimately, Pillman established a reputation for himself.

Micha Klein minted a limited collection of animated NFTs called Bitcoin Pills on Ordinals in April 2023. The artist highlights that this NFT project was developed by him over the course of 30 years.
At the turn of the century, Klein was promoting innovative computer animation technology. Long before Rare Pepes, Cryptopunks, and CryptoKitties, dancing Pillman became a meme, symbol, and part of the cultural code for the rave culture, hip-hop, and acid generation. Turning to NFT art is, in a way, a return to the roots of the artist's creative path. On the brink of his sixties, Micha continues to innovate, this time in the field of blockchain.

The collection of Bitcoin Pills comprises 2222 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that boast a stunning array of colors and gender representations. These pieces of art are crafted through advanced algorithms that incorporate 51 different categories and 372 attributes. A sophisticated approach to NFT creation imbues each token with its own distinctiveness, thereby rendering some of these unique collectibles more rare than other images are.
The successful NFT range, Klein's Crypto Pills on the Ethereum blockchain, preceded the Bitcoin Pills collection. In the year 2021, the Crypto Pills was sold out with great success within a mere 11 minutes. The Bitcoin Pills, as a successor, bestows certain benefits on previous NFT collectors, such as the complimentary creation of 1-4 additional tokens and reduced prices. A regular Bitcoin Pills costs 0.01 BTC. Former customers receive each one for 0.007 BTC.
