The EU is cracking down on anonymous cryptocurrency transfers by placing a limit of €1,000. The reason? You guessed it: to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
Cash transactions are also affected as their limit is capped at €7,000.

The new package of measures is expected to be approved in April. Stricter compliance is anticipated as banks, crypto managers, and other organizations will be required to verify clients' personal information and other parameters.
