Warner Bros. has unveiled plans to release the highly anticipated DC Comics superhero film “The Flash” as an NFT (non-fungible token) on the same day it hits traditional digital platforms.
Dubbed “The Flash” Web3 Movie Experience, this NFT will be available for purchase starting July 18 through the blockchain service Eluvio, accepting credit cards and cryptocurrency as payment options. Buyers of the NFT will gain exclusive benefits, including the ability to watch the film in 4K Ultra HD, access special features, collect artwork, and unlock augmented reality (AR) collectibles.

Priced at $35, the “Mystery” edition offers buyers access to one of four unique key art pieces featuring Prime Barry, Young Barry, Batman, or Supergirl, along with one of four dynamic menu interfaces. The unveiling of the dynamic menu interfaces will occur after the purchase. It’s important to note that the Mystery edition will have a limited availability of 10,000 copies.

Meanwhile, the “Premium” edition, priced at $100 and restricted to just 2,000 copies, features one of two motion art pieces (featuring The Flash, Supergirl, and Batman together or Dark Flash) alongside all four dynamic menu interfaces.
