Top-5 Crypto Stories I Enjoyed in 2023
2023 was an eventful year. Now that it is coming to an end, it is time to provide a wrap-up of the stories that I consider to be the best this year. And I can only hope that the readers concur. Without any further ado, let’s take a look at them.
Number 5: SBF’s Courtroom Sketches that Will Puzzle You
This was undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable articles to write. The sketches that I found on the internet ranged from very bad to very puzzling. SBF looked like a pile of human sticks and for some reason a bit like Chinghis Khan. I’m not quite sure as to why the sketchers decided to opt for such artistic visions – but, hey, who am I to judge?My drawings are even worse so I will refrain from excessive criticism.
Number 4: Pro-Crypto POTUS Candidates: All Three Against Ukraine?
Ok, well maybe I didn’t really enjoy writing this one that much given that I’m Ukrainian – but life isn’t about fun and giggles only. I felt this piece was important as it analyzes three POTUS candidates – Democrat Robert Kennedy Jr. and Republicans Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy.All of them are crypto-friendly, especially Robert Kennedy Jr., and yet all seem to be either overtly pro-Russian and anti-Ukrainian like Vivek Ramaswamy or a bit more subtle like Ron DeSantis.
I feel it’s important to relay this message to the crypto community. Especially since in 2024 Americans are heading to the polling stations to choose their next President.
Number 3: Tron DAO’s Ecosystem Development Director on Blockchain and More
In October, I had the opportunity to talk to David Uhryniak, Tron DAO’s Ecosystem Development Director, and I think it was an excellent interview.In my lifetime, I’ve talked to hundreds of people and one of the biggest challenges is that you never quite know whether your interviewee will actually answer your question – or they will embark on their own monologue, leaving you flabbergasted as to how to edit all this after.
This interview was extremely concise and to the point – hence it’s on my list.
Number 2: Is Linda Yaccarino Real-Life Tom Wambsgans?
I have to come clean. I am a fan of HBO’s Succession. Having previously had the chance to interview its cinematographer, I have followed the lives of the Roys all the way to the end of season 4.Yet, I also noticed that much of what I saw in the series is also present in real-life – and the dynamic between Elon Musk and Linda Yaccarino only serves to exemplify it.
Musk stepped down as X (Twitter) CEO in June, appointing Yaccarino instead. However, it doesn’t seem that she has any real power and her general behavior is that of fully appeasing Musk’s erratic conduct.
I will not spill the beans any further so watch Succession first and read the article after.

As a matter of fact I had a hard time choosing between this article and Facebook Users React to SBF Being “So Different and So Unusual as the latter, admittedly, made me burst into laughter after reading the users’ reaction to a bizarre attempt to portray SBF as an unorthodox martyr and a grand visionary.However, Michael Saylor still managed to get atop. All thanks to his unique ability to treat Bitcoin as a special type of cult and religion. So, once again, repeat after us:
