posted 30 Jan 2024
Investment company Uncorrelated Ventures secured $315 Million in recent funding to finance software infrastructure and crypto startups.
Founder and General Partner at the VC, Salil Deshpande said in an interview with Bloomberg that there was no difficulty in raising the money.
The California-based company will dedicate around 80% of the funds to early-stage traditional software companies and 20% to the crypto sector.
Despite recent months being rough for Web3, Deshpande mentions investors’ interest in the sector was higher than expected.
Earlier this month, Crunchbase reported that Web3 Funding in Q4 2023 was the lowest in two years. 2024 is expected to be better but there are still problems to deal with.
