Yahoo Mail has rolled out new AI-based features in its desktop app. Users can now generate a concise email summary with key tasks highlighted in a list format. Earlier, the AI was trained to prioritize important emails.
Moreover, developers have incorporated interactive buttons for swift email responses based on the content. For instance, if a user needs to take their car for repairs on Friday, they can instantly add this task to their calendar to get a reminder on the set day.
People are craving better ways to streamline the daily activities that often bog us down, like managing multiple email accounts, sorting out their schedules, reading through long messages, and tracking orders. The new features we’re launching are aimed at making life that much easier for anyone that relies on email,said Kyle Miller, Yahoo Mail’s VP of Product.
Yahoo Mail developers consistently enhance the platform with new AI features. In the past year, they have launched an improved search mode, the ability to save gift cards, and a personal assistant for writing emails that generates text based on the desired style (business, friendly, romantic) for more appropriate replies.
