Animoca Brands is set to introduce their Web3 games into the mobile application of the Celo blockchain. They will also serve as one of Celo's network validators, ensuring its security alongside industry giants like Deutsche Telekom, Coinbase, a16z, among others.
Animoca Brands stands out as the first of a hundred Celo partners to provide blockchain games to the ecosystem. The company believes this step edges them closer to crafting a milieu conducive to the mass adoption of Web3 and blockchain-based entertainment products.

In addition, Animoca Brands is negotiating a strategic partnership with the Celo Foundation, an entity committed to the expansion of the decentralized mobile platform, Celo.

Should this partnership materialize, both companies will delve into the development and creation of applications targeting the social and environmental domains.

A noteworthy highlight is the alliance struck in June 2023 between Animoca Brands and Mitsui, a prominent Japanese trading corporation. The entities will jointly pioneer projects aimed at fostering blockchain and Web3 integration in Japan. 

Previously, Animoca Brands made public their collaboration with Hooked Protocol, a venture aimed at creating large-scale educational and entertainment Web3 products.
