🌋 Ankr and TON Join Forces: A Look at the New Integration

posted  6 hr ago
On October 24, Ankr, a decentralized Web3 infrastructure provider, announced its support for the TON blockchain, aimed at facilitating the development of Telegram-focused dApps. This move seeks to make the process of building applications in the TON blockchain ecosystem, which is tightly connected to Telegram, more efficient.
The integration introduces Remote Procedure Call (RPC) support, which allows developers to interact seamlessly with The Open Network. Through RPC, dApps on TON can send queries and receive data directly from the network, making the development and deployment of applications faster and more streamlined.
Ankr is thrilled to support development on TON and ignite the proliferation of next-gen dApps, digital assets, games, and more on Telegram and beyond

Ankr’s support for the TON blockchain offers developers access to a fast, scalable infrastructure that’s already heavily utilized within Telegram. This integration expands the reach of TON development, making it easier for more developers to build on the platform while increasing the popularity of decentralized services within Telegram.

The Open Network (TON) was initially developed by the Telegram team and later revived by the TON Foundation. The blockchain is geared towards creating secure, scalable applications, and its partnership with Telegram is helping to drive new users toward TON-based dApps.

In 2024, TON experienced significant growth, with the Tap-to-Earn game Notcoin bringing over 40 million new players to the TON network.
