Worldcoin, in collaboration with Sam Altman (creator of ChatGPT), has released the World ID identification protocol, which allows users to prove their physical existence.
The protocol is a mobile iris scanning tool. Users can link World ID to any compatible mobile wallet.
The development prospects are almost limitless. Eventually, users would be able to transmit their unique data to the network, for example fingerprints or a retina scan, while still maintaining anonymity.
