Major X Handle Embraces Bitcoin
X is home to many different outlets – but Visegrad 24 stands out.

Its bio, however, most certainly stands out. It reads, “aggregating and curating news, politics and current affairs. #BTC”. It is the only non-crypto outlet on Twitter that has embraced Bitcoin or any other crypto in such a manner.
We decided to take a closer look at the handle – and here’s what we found out.
It focuses on countries in Central Europe
Visegrad is a cultural and political alliance of four Central European countries: Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary. It was founded right after the collapse of the USSR and aims to advance co-operation in military, economic, cultural and energy affairs, and to further their integration with the EU.
Named after it, the outlet accordingly provides a lot of information about these countries. Though it also covers other pertinent issues such as Ukraine, Israel, and more.
It is not your traditional media
Visegrad 24 often interacts with its readers. Not just the fan base — but the haters too.
On one occasion it provided its followers with the opportunity to ask any question they wanted to. On another – it showed the hate it received in DM while also ridiculing the mocker.
Most recently, they also claimed that they suffered from a bot attack that reportedly messes with the algorithm and decreases your reach – an assertion that indeed floats in the X-verse.
It is a staunch supporter of Ukraine and Israel
If there’s one thing that’s clear about Visegrad 24, it’s that it supports Ukraine in its defensive war against the russian aggressor and Israel in its war on the Hamas terrorist group.
It often mocks and questions pro-Palestine protests where the participants call for the eradication of Israel by chanting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”. The river in question is Jordan river and the sea is the Mediterranean Sea, which doesn’t envision the existence of Israel.
It is highly-opinionated
One can hold extensive debates on whether any media outlet out there is full objective. However, Visegrad 24 is a tad more special.
Firstly, it uses emotionally-charged language as opposed to a more neutral one. Secondly, it often states its opinions in tweets such as here where they comment on a banner in the UK that calls for the extermination of Jews.
“These people are basically calling for repeating the Holocaust. Disgusting behavior…,” they wrote.
