⚡ Musk Takes Legal Action Against OpenAI

Renowned entrepreneur Elon Musk has initiated legal proceedings against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, alleging they breached an agreement dedicated to advancing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) technology for the global good rather than for profit.
Musk contends that OpenAI's partnership with Microsoft has effectively transformed it into a profit-centric subsidiary. He insists on reverting AGI to its open-source roots, including the GPT-4 language model, to prevent OpenAI from profiting off the technology.
Microsoft stands to make a fortune selling GPT-4 to the public, which would not be possible if OpenAI—as it is required to do—makes the technology freely available to the public,Musk stated.
Despite Microsoft's consistent refutations that GPT-4 has achieved AGI status, Musk interprets these denials as attempts to obscure their monetization strategies for a technology he views as a potential threat to humanity. Notably, OpenAI remains unprofitable, despite substantial revenue.
