Step into the world of NFTs with Topaz, the premier NFT marketplace on the Aptos blockchain. With a focus on security, scalability, and an unparalleled user experience, the developers bring expertise from other markets to revolutionize the NFT space.
By keeping active communication with its community, Topaz promptly addresses issues, wishes, or feedback. As a result, the marketplace remains flexible, no matter the odds.

One can easily find a specific NFT or a whole collection on Topaz, which offers a wide selection. However, to use all the functions, such as buying and selling, one needs to connect an Aptos wallet (Petra, Martian).

Collections, Trading, and Launchpad

The profile displays all available NFTs, with collection statistics including trading volume, average price, number of owners, and more. Currently, the most popular collection is Aptos Monkeys, with a daily trading volume of around 133 APT (2000 dollars). While many collections have the Topaz Collection Badge, their statistics are not as impressive.

Once you select a collection on Topaz, an advanced search with numerous filters will appear. This will enable you to find the perfect NFT or automatically select several suitable results for purchase using the slider on the right side of the site.

You may purchase NFTs at a fixed price or through an online auction on Topaz. The platform fee is 2.5% plus a creator royalty of 5%.

At the end of February, Topaz launched a tournament to keep the community engaged. Users can earn points for purchasing NFTs, listing and selling them, or creating the most appealing auction offers. The tournament is only for the top five collections by daily volume, and unfortunately, it is unclear what reward the winner will receive. It is stated that the points have no monetary value and do not guarantee free giveaways.

Topaz offers a launchpad for users to access via a whitelist or public minting. It also allows NFT creators to list their collections in a large community without marketing costs. To apply, creators must submit an official form with all the necessary information and wait for their turn. Topaz collections launch is planned weeks in advance.

Portails

However, the most interesting feature is Portails - an automated market maker (AMM) on Aptos. It may seem complicated for those who have never encountered anything like it.

With Portails, users can create a liquidity pool from NFTs and a small amount of APT, with the potential to earn from trades. It may seem complex for new AMM users. After each purchase from your pool, the price of the next NFT increases by the set delta, and decreases with each sale. NFTs and APT can be withdrawn from Portails at any time, but with possible impermanent losses, as with any liquidity pool.

For those who own a variety of NFTs and are willing to take risks, Portails is an excellent solution. However, users must accept the possibility of loss and errors since Portails is still in its alpha test phase.

Should you opt for Topaz?

Topaz is a high-quality NFT marketplace with interesting collections and features. It facilitates active trading and collecting on the Aptos blockchain, but offers little beyond that. While the team is actively working on the project and can be reached through social media, the platform's functionality is not as diverse as others in the space. Primarily, they focus on fixing small bugs on the site and attracting new collections.
