📣 ZachXBT Links Fortnite Pro to $3.5M Meme Coin Scam
posted 2 hr ago
Blockchain detective ZachXBT has accused a former Fortnite pro of participating in a meme coin fraud scheme, stealing an estimated $3.5 million.
The investigator claims that cryptocurrency addresses associated with Serpent (SerpentAU), an Australian Fortnite esports star, were tied to meme coins created after the hacking of social media accounts belonging to McDonald's, Usher, Kabosu’s owner, Andy Ayrey, Wiz Khalifa, SPX 6900, and other public figures.
The meme token scheme reportedly brought the perpetrators a total profit of $3.5 million.
ZachXBT now alleges that Serpent is actively gambling at crypto casinos like Roobet, Stake, BC Game, and Shuffle, reportedly squandering “millions of dollars.” The investigator obtained screenshots of these casino transactions, which included the associated withdrawal addresses.
The investigation also uncovered that Serpent frequently uses wallets directly tied to the meme coins listed above.
After ZachXBT published the first installment of his report on November 26, Serpent started deleting tweets from his X account. The researcher believes that the former Fortnite player may also be tied to other scams involving hacked celebrity accounts and meme coin promotions.

Back in March 2024, Serpent had already been implicated in fraudulent activities, making headlines with the launch of his project ERROR. This ultimately led to the suspension of his X account due to its involvement in questionable schemes.
