Investment firm Hashdex, vying for a spot in the Bitcoin ETF race, has released a report titled "2024 Crypto Investment Outlook—Opportunity meets Optimism."
The
report outlines three pivotal themes that are expected to shape the
future of crypto investing: the integration of cryptocurrencies with
traditional financial systems (TradFi), technological advancements in
key crypto assets, and the potential impact of a spot Bitcoin ETF.
Hashdex expresses optimism about the anticipated launch of the first
spot Bitcoin ETF in the U.S. by Q2 2024. Additionally, they speculate on
the likelihood of a subsequent emergence of a spot Ethereum ETF.
While
the SEC gears up for final decisions on certain spot Bitcoin ETFs by
January 2024, Hashdex cautions about potential implementation delays,
possibly stretching into weeks or months.
