PostFinance, one of Switzerland's major banks, is stepping into the cryptocurrency world with a service for retail clients, launching on February 21, 2024. The service will allow users to purchase, store, and even set up savings plans for digital assets. Initially, it will offer access to 11 popular cryptocurrencies.

Asset management firm AllianceBernste posits that Ethereum (ETH) might be the only cryptocurrency to follow Bitcoin in receiving the green light from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the launch of an exchange-traded fund (ETF). Analysts from the firm estimate a 50% chance of an Ethereum ETF being approved by May 2024, with the likelihood nearing 100% by the end of the year.

The Uniswap Foundation has revealed that Uniswap V4, the upcoming version of its decentralized exchange protocol, is expected to go live on the mainnet in the third quarter of 2024, post the Dencun update on Ethereum.

Sam Bankman-Fried, former head of the now-bankrupt FTX exchange, is due back in court on February 21, 2024, to testify about his lawyers' potential conflict of interest. This interrogation is expected to be conducted by the judge.
